• We’re not asking you to toss money into a personal Paypal account and hope some of it actually goes to charity. Donations are made via MightyCause.com and we never see a single penny out of it unless you allocate it to us specifically, and then we use it for food supplies only. You can use the receipt MightyCause emails you as your proof for the deduction.
• Big Cat Rescue is not a private zoo like a lot of places that claim to be animal rescues. They rescue animals from abusive fake ‘sanctuaries’ and private owners who learned that feeding a tiger and providing medical care to one is expensive and give them the care they need. They do not breed, and they educate the public and push for legislation to keep them safe. BCR does not even buy its animals. They were all surrendered or taken from sanctuaries that were closed down due to violations.  Their accounting books are open to the public so you can see exactly where the money goes.
• And BCR helps more than exotic cats! They have a kitten fostering program where they raise kittens and prepare them for adoption by socializing them and making sure they’re healthy and ready for a new life.
